Naked

And then God asked, who told you you are naked? And then he confessed, that he had eaten off the forbidden fruit. Though not directly, but indirectly. That is, by playing the blame game.

Yahweh God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” And he said, “I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” And the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave to me from the tree, and I ate.”

Man's nakedness was not novel at that point, but his knowledge of his nakedness was what was. From creation he was naked, and by this I mean unclothed with the perfect inability to sin. And not just mere absence of textiles on his body. In other words, we could say that he was not immune to sin. This right here was his true and first nakedness. God is the only one who is not naked and can't be naked, for by His very nature, He is shielded from sin and thus, He automatically cannot sin. The whole of scripture is in a good way rife with proclamation of God's holiness. But man on the other hand is classified as not good, thanks to the contaminating nature of sin.

Yahweh looks down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there is anyone who has insight, Anyone who seeks after God. They have all turned aside, altogether they have become worthless; There is no one who does good, not even one.

By eating off the forbidden fruit, we fall short of God's glory. And as a consequence of living in a world that epitomises His very nature_Order, we are thus subject to facing His righteous judgement. Gravity, seasons of the year and creatures such as ants, are classical representation of His order. To put it simple: there are consequences for every action.

2nd Nakedness

Before eating the fruit, we were not exposed to a fallen world. We were not exposed to evil in the way that we are today. But as a consequence of our sin, we now have three enemies: the world, our flesh and the Devil. In contrast to just one_the devil at creation. But even then, the devil had no power over us like it does now.

In whose case the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 LSB

Now we have become slaves to the devil. And like in the ancient world after you are defeated by an invading troop seeking control over your land, the devil has taken away our clothes and even our eyes. We are continually being tempted and exposed to sin.

Unfortunately we can't win this battle. The only one who can is Christ. And this is exactly what our Lord Jesus Christ did when he died on the cross. However, this does not mean that we are free from temptations but it instead, announces our ability to overcome sin by the very same power which resurrected Jesus Christ from the dead.

We are damned by the very nature we have_Adamic nature.

Our only hope is holiness.

Holiness by redemption and Holiness by ordination into being son's of God.

Those who are saved from these whole debacle are those who confess Jesus as their Lord and believe in His finished work on the cross. [ John 3:16].
